TRILOCK DISTAL FIBULA PLATES 2.8/3.5, LATERAL

FEATURES

  • Multiple holes in the head of the plate accept 2.8 mm and 3.5 mm TriLock and cortical screws
  • Oblong hole for one 3.5 mm cortical screw
  • 3.5 mm compression hole with a cortical screw
  • Possibility to insert up to three 2.8 mm TriLock screws in the distal plate end

CLINICAL BENEFITS

  • Option to use small or large screws in bone fragments
  • Oblong hole allows for adjustment of the plate position before final fixation
  • 2 – 3 mm of compression can be achieved through the plate with one cortical screw
  • 2.8 mm screws in the plate end allow for the capture of  malleolar fragments in Weber fractures

APTUS® Ankle

The APTUS Ankle Trauma System 2.8/3.5 is designed to provide a variety of fixation options for fractures and osteotomies of the distal tibia and fibula and consists of multiple low profile, straight and anatomically-pre-contoured plates.

The combination of 2.8 and 3.5 screws and TriLock locking technology in the distal hole clusters allows for maximized fixation at the fracture site, especially in osteoporotic bone or comminuted fractures.

Specific plate features such as flaps and very distal 2.8 screw holes allow for the fixation of Wagstaffe fragment, Chaput fragment and distal malleolar fragments.
